John 15v1-3; “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He [a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. “ In this scripture, we see the vine and the branches. Jesus Christ is the vine and we are the branches. God wants us to be fruitful not because He wants to enjoy our fruits. He is a fruitful God; He created us and so we ought to be fruitful. In biology, we are taught that the sap that flows in the vine and the stem is the same. There is no difference. So, the anointing upon your life is the same that was upon Jesus Christ. Realize it and place a demand on that anointing.
We all have different stories and experiences. But pick yourself up from that dust, from your situations and be the man and woman God wants you to be. Apostle Edmonds said that in one of the Bible study session where he was teaching, the Lord taught him not to follow people or just accept people by what they say but by their fruits. From that day, the embarrassment people caused in his life reduced almost to zero because when he knows the fruit, he does not expect something else. People’s fruit is their character. Through this message, God is going to handover the secret key to preach the gospel so easily and that key is fruit. In Matthews 7v20; “Therefore by their fruits you will know them”, we see contextually about false prophets. Prophets are not those who are just occupying the celebrity position of the prophetic calling. Every Christian is a prophet. Abraham was called a prophet. Is it because he was given vision or he was interpreting dreams to everyone? No. Your connection with the only true God makes you His prophet. Whenever you speak the word of God, believe it and do it, you are a prophet. Whenever you hear the word of God and do not do it, you are a false prophet. Are you a false prophet? The easiest way to preach the gospel is to be the gospel in flesh and bones. Forgive like Jesus, Love like Jesus, forget like Jesus, pray for your enemies like Jesus, have mercy like Jesus etc. When the woman in the Bible was caught in the act of sexual immorality, there He made the people realize that they are living life of the fruit of sin. And so how dare they can crucify someone? No matter how much you fast and pray and are vibrant in your life but that’s not the fruit yet. When you meet people what fruit do you bear? People must know you are a Christian. It doesn’t cost too much. Just do what you believe. Sometimes you may not feel like doing something but you have to do it. It is called faith. And the scripture says faith pleases God. When you are with your friends and you are like them in every way and when you tell them about Jesus Christ, they will not listen to you. When your friends are in trouble, they will remember only those who have good relationship with God. They will not remember those who have earthly connection. Your fruit speaks louder than your voice. The Lord said people would live their lives from the abundance of their hearts. Life is not lived by situations. It just doesn’t happen; it was in your heart. If you have bad fruit, don’t excuse it. Change it. Galatians 5v22-23; “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” Here the scripture talks about the fruit of the Spirit. It is not talking about the Holy Spirit. It is talking about the recreated human spirit. When we receive Jesus Christ, that recreated human spirit bears these fruits. The best way to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ is to be the gospel.
