THE GRACE OF GOD | Edmonds & Agape Owhorode

The resurrection morning, John and Peter went to the tomb where the body of Christ was laid. And it was empty. Now, this is the heartbeat of your faith. If you miss the connecting point, with the empty tomb and your faith, I don’t know of what use your will be on earth for the kingdom of God.  

One of the neighbours was talking to blessed Reinhard Bonnke that he came back from his religion founder’s grave. Then he started to describe about the all the beautiful decorations. Before his finished talking Holy Spirit inspired Reinhard Bonnke and he said “The founder of my religion, what makes His grave so beautiful is that it is empty. He did not rot; His bones are not there. He is alive. If you believe in Him whatever He promises you will get it in your life.” Today many Christians are like that neighbor of Reinhard Bonnke.  
  
Jesus is resurrected. As a result of that what are you today? The resurrection life – its reality is today. Bible talks about that extravagant grace, unmerited, unrequested favour (2 Cor 6v1). He gave us His name. What are you using it? He gave us His life? What are you using it for? This Passover, don’t let the grace of God upon your life to go in vain. To whom much is given, much is expected. When the grace of God is discovered and you receive the grace of God, it is not in vain. When you receive the grace of God upon your life, you are to function accordingly. The grace of God speaks in every area of your life.  
  
The grace of God is not for teaching and knowledge, but the grace of God for us is to “Become” what He died for. Jesus Christ who resurrected two thousand plus years ago, that life is available for us today and that grace is available for us today. We can experience it. If all we do is to talk and preach about it, it is like a meat. We just don’t talk about the resurrection; we believe it and we have that resurrection life today. And so, Covid-19 came to the right generation; the generation of Christ when we are alive and who believe and has the resurrection life. Today there are people who have this belief and have resurrection life. Do not forget two things. If you have resurrection life, you will speak accordingly. You will never speak death. Your resurrection life is heard today.  
  
The resurrection life today has a voice and it can be recognized anywhere we are. Apostle Paul says in 1 Cor 15v19 (NKJV); “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.” and in 1 Cor 15v14; “And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty”. Jesus truly lived, truly went on the cross, in His body bled, suffered for us, truly died, was truly laid on the tomb and truly resurrected and that makes us to live a certain life today. If you are not living the life, then you have received the grace in vain.  If you do not use that resurrected life, if you are afraid of sickness, covid-19 or if you are scared to die, you don’t know the extent of the grace of God that you received.  
  
Let's us start with the head of the creation Jesus Christ. He spoke about His death. If you have the resurrection life, you will never be scared of your death. As a matter of fact, you will follow the order. What in this life actually deserves you being here? Pleasures, goods…what is it? So, having that in your heart you be in the right position, to allow resurrection life come out because resurrection life is heard. Before ever Jesus resurrected anyone, He spoke of who He is. He is the Son of God. And, if you are speaking death for any reason whatsoever, you are a baby Christian. 
  
Apostle Paul said “for when I am weak, then am I strong” (2 Cor 12v10b) because grace of God rests upon him. His strength is made perfect in weakness. First acknowledge it. You don’t have to feel it. 
  
If you are a Christian and you believe in Jesus Christ in spirit and truth then you are the hope of this world. The grace of God has sound. It speaks the mercy of God. He said in Psalms 91v11-12; “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your way.” This is your hour. This is your day. This is your season. Shine in the name of Jesus. 
  
Those of you who don’t know where you are standing and are like a switch - sometimes on and sometimes off, do you want to be the man or woman whom the grace of God cannot rely upon to save His generation? What do you want to be? Be what He has made you. Speak the grace of God. In the face of danger, speak the grace of God.
