From science we discovered that every force that is applied creates another. The initial force creates a reaction. But science discovered it very late because the spirit is senior to the natural. How did great men of God like Abraham, Moses, Apostle Paul etcetra in the Bible were able to experience these changes? Infact they were not given special dispensation but we are given special dispensation in the New Testament and that dispensation is a dispensation of grace and truth. What happens is our foolishness is condoned but not justified. And God has mercy upon our foolishness. He sees us through the lens of her mercies, love and kindness. We are not in sin anymore. In Philippians 3v8 (MSG) you will see the force that Paul put to work. You will see Abraham how he offered Isaac and act that would change his life and the entire world. He did it in faith. God wants you to come to the realization that there are principles that when you put to work, it puts into operation a corresponding force and sometimes an opposite reaction.
Many things you experience, they are spiritual reactions. They happen because there was an initial force that was put to work spiritually. In the lives of men who had radical change, you will spot a graph in the point of their life where they put to work a spiritual principle. Romans 10v9-10(MSG); “Moses wrote that anyone who insists on using the law code to live right before God soon discovers it’s not so easy—every detail of life regulated by fine print! But trusting God to shape the right living in us is a different story—no precarious climb up to heaven to recruit the Messiah, no dangerous descent into hell to rescue the Messiah. So what exactly was Moses saying? The word that saves is right here, as near as the tongue in your mouth, as close as the heart in your chest. It’s the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. This is the core of our preaching. Say the welcoming word to God—“Jesus is my Master”—embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: “God has set everything right between him and me!” Here is a principle to get saved. You don’t get saved by staying near to the church or the pastor is your father or brother etc. but you get saved because you put the principle to work. Here is a principle when you put to work, your account becomes clean. People don’t get saved because they are good folks or they have good intentions but because they believe in their heart and confess with their mouth. Math 7v7; “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Asking is a principle and the way you are asking must be out of knowledge. James says double mind men is unstable in all his ways (James 1v8). Every time you are double minded about a particular topic in the scripture or a particular doctrine and you want to experience the positive side of it, you will not. Let us take the example of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. If you want to experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit and first, you don’t have knowledge of it, second, you are not so convinced inside your heart, then you will not receive anything from the Lord. You need to understand the principle that works eternal life. When you understand eternal life, you start to swing free using these principles. You also need knowledge to ask because James says we should not amiss (James 4v3). Asking amiss means asking for selfishness. You should come to the point where you are satisfied. If you are not satisfied, God’s blessings can be a curse to you. It is a blessing to be satisfied. So, James says we don’t receive to squander it in our stinginess and terrible desires. Spiritual reaction is there in eternal life. Eternal life is the spiritual reaction of God’s plan. Another important aspect of spiritual reaction is meditation. The scripture tells what meditation does to us. Apostle Paul said to Timothy in 1 Timothy 4v15; “Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” Meditation is the installing God’s word in the human spirit. Meditation is inhaling the word of God and exhaling its realities. Meditation is a spiritual vitality. Give thyself wholly. And then reaction happens. Take heed to thyself and the doctrine. Apostle Edmonds said the changes he has seen in his life is spiritual reaction by paying attention to the word of God like Moses paid attention. If you pay to the word of God, your life too will be completely changed.
